Rory McGivern is a self-taught photographer. He has developed a specialty subject matter of “Wildlife” and “Northern Lights”. These subjects are common to the area that he lives. The wildlife subjects present themselves by chance and Rory is there to capture the image. Capturing the Northern-lights are planned outings by following solar activity and the luck of having a cold clear night to photograph. For Rory when out shooting “it’s something about being out at night in Yukon… Quietness” This is what keeps Rory moving forward. |
