This Is Our Two Bit Story From Jay, Ron and Ken... LOL

Day Two Scoot June 22 for Ron, Jay and Ken

Date: Tuesday 21st

Two Bits From Ken.

It's around 5 pm in the afternoon, Jay with buddy Ron are about to land at the Kelowna Airport. They have travelled from Faro to pick up a new to Jay 2008 Honda Goldwing that really is a new bike. Only 14k on this xlent Wing. Yes... someone just broke it in for him and installed even more add-ons... hard to believe the previous owner could add more to the Wing that is already famous for being a couch on wheels. It has floorboard highway pegs, wind deflectors and matching luggage. Three soft bags, one for the trunk and two for each hard saddle bag. Plus the standard kitchen sink, heated seats and grips with just too much to mention everything. Ron is picking up a new 2022 DCT Wing with the larger trunk for this year model. He has added a very comfortable back rest, he should have no problem taking a nap as he scoots down the highway. This bike is appointed very well with a kitchen sink also. We take a quick stop at the Honda dealer just to let them know they arrived, drop off their plates... and check out some riding gear. Tomorrow is still one sleep away before they can take a spin on the new girls.

That evening I take Ron and Jay for my personal world famous, spectacular tour of Kelowna. Heck I even showed them places I've never been! LOL We get them all settled in at the Dilworth Inn for a few nights until the 25th. Lets hit the White Spot for some fine food and laughs before we call it a night. Tomorrow we will check out a few motorcycle shops as they both need some new riding gear.

Date: Wednesday 22nd

Two Bits From Ken.

Up early with a 8 am start we are off to look at a few other motorcycle shops... to see what else is out there. We found a few other things before returning to Kelowna PoweSports where we acquired the rest of what we know they had. I must say the service at Kelowna PowerSports is second to none. They had the bikes full of fuel, shinning with the plates installed on both bikes that were dropped off the night before... at closing time, everything was ready to go. Top drawer as a few different people got involved in a complete orientation of the bikes and answered any questions. Special Thanx to Carol who was most xlent in making everything happen. Well Done! So, the time has come. Lets take a little scoot before we shut down for the night. A little trip to the Hall Creek Rest Area on Highway 33 is happening. Zoom... Zoom... Zoom and we are gone.
