Date: Thursday 23rd Two Bits From Ken. It's up early today, weather looking not too bad. Unfortunately, like everywhere else it has not been a fantastic spring with more rain than normal. We do breakfast at Denny's ( great breakfast BTW ) and hit the highway for our scoot. Today we will be taking a scoot to Keremeos, then to spotted lake, a ride through Osoyoos, Rock Creek and then heading back home. That night we enjoy a wonderful meal at the Keg in Kelowna with some good food, drinks and laughs. Date: Friday 24th Two Bits From Ken. Up early again... LOL. Today we are lucky to catch a morning coffee complete with snacks. Buddies Hank and Kim invite the three of us to join them for a morning coffee and a few laughs before we start the ride of the day. We are going to take a few back roads as we head out Glenmore Rd. We tour Okanagan Centre, Lake Country with a break at Tim's in Vernon. Then we ride Old Kamloops Road before coming along Okanagan Lake using Westside Road for a visit with Sister Jane and Brother ( in-law ) Les. Beautiful day and scoot on some nice roads. Sister Jane puts out a great charcuterie board, it was a wonderful unexpected food and drink stop with more laughs. Ron and Jay retired the evening back at the pub in the hotel with some new found friends. Love the look Jay... :) |
