“What I learned”, “What I liked “and “What sucked”. Bullet Points not in any
ordero I learned that
GPS’s are fickle, pretentious, temperamental, self-centered living creatures and
really don’t have your best interest at heart.
o I like that each night I was in some sort of hotel with a shower and a
shitter…. I am very grateful.
o I learned I like some hotels/motels more than others. Thunder Bay Super
8 should be a Super 4.
o I like the breakfast at the A&W.
o I learned how to ride in biblical pouring rain at higher speeds.
o I learned the woolly skin I put on my seat was comfy and cooling….
Looked like I had a major pubic hair problem.
o I liked the coms and music system we had (I disliked the coms music
system we had).
o I learned that I talk too much because my riding pals would shut off
their head sets (“Hey look a cow! Wow…Look another telephone pole… this one is
green”) can’t say I blame them…… they were just trying to save themselves.
o I learned when you see an obvious rain cloud to immediately stop and put
on your rain gear. (Please note; my ongoing long term re-structured goal setting
is still in progress).
o I learned that each morning I was always eager to get on the bike and
ride.
o I liked that each morning I was always eager to get on the bike and
ride.
o I liked the thought that each morning we didn’t really know where at
night we would be staying.
o I like the Motorcycle dealership just outside of Winnipeg that installed
my back tire. They had a tire in stock and the service department put me at the
front of the list.
o I like the Motorcycle dealership in Moose Jaw that installed my front
tire. They had a tire in stock and the service department put me at the front of
the list.
o I leaned to replace motorcycle tires when on a road trip. It is really
the best way.
o I like crossing Provincial lines. My favorite was Manitoba and Ontario.
We stopped there to take a break.
o I learned I like booting it across the prairies. The freedom of that big
space expands my brain.
o I learned Ontario and Lake Superior are very big and it made me feel
very small.
o I like Guelph Ontario. Went to the liquor store there. Very good liquor
store.
o I learned I like Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum premixed together in the
Captain Morgan’s Rum bottle for easy access with a pocket bottle of Fireball
over ice. Yum
o I like riding with “Rider Ron” and “The Premium Blue Bomber”.
o What I really liked was at the end of a the days ride we would shuffle
off to our rented rooms, clean up as best we could and meet up for Captain
Morgan’s Spiced Rum premix over ice. Then it was off for dinner somewhere…. Dang
good times with some good dinners.
o I like the water falls at Niagara Falls. As I said above “A Mystic
Cascade”.
o What Sucked? “Viva Niagara Falls”. It is a “Cheesy Vegas in the Mist”
Although I did like the “Ripley Believe it or Not” store… I saw a shrunken
head….my bucket list is nearing completion. I choose to believe.
o I like that I bought an “Emoji Turd Hat” that has flashing lights…How
could I not?
o I like that my life long bucket list now completed after buying the “Emoji
Turd Hat”.
o What I learned from buying an “Emoji Turd Hat” is that Niagara’s
sinister underbelly that feeds off the many……. this “misty snare” had me and
held me in its greedy clutch. I’m okay now. I think. |
